Transformed Studio, owned by award-winning hairstylist Jess Sutherland, is a hidden speakeasy salon tucked upstairs in Hawthorn. Designed to feel more like your friend’s lounge than a traditional salon, the space is light-filled and calm. Every detail has been carefully considered and curated by Jess herself to create a place where you can escape the noise, slow down and treat yourself.

Whether you want to work from the space, relax completely while your hair is transformed, or even bring your dog along, the studio adapts to you.

As an exclusive Oribe salon, every service is elevated with luxury performance products that honour the craft. Jess brings almost two decades of expertise and industry recognition, including AHFA Newcomer of the Year and finalist for Master Cutter of the Year. Her approach blends precision, intuition and modern technique, creating hair that feels effortless, wearable and uniquely you.

Transformed Studio is also home to Transformed Education, where Jess shares her cutting education with hairdressers who want to elevate their skills.
